# Whisker vs Revela

Whisker and Revela both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Revela's written reviews are positive against 52% of Whisker's. Revela also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). Whisker's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (149K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Revela sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whisker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Revela holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whisker has 149K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of Whisker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Revela's.

Whisker ships an update every 3 weeks, Revela daily. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
