The clearest difference is rating: Hyder TV at 5.0 against IBO PLAYER's 2.7. Hyder TV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.6). IBO PLAYER's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IBO PLAYER sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Hyder TV asks for nothing beyond the download.
