# Thousand Online vs SmartPref Pro

The clearest difference is rating: SmartPref Pro at 4.8 against Thousand Online's 4.2. SmartPref Pro also leads on review sentiment (69% vs 30%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thousand Online sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and SmartPref Pro sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmartPref Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2.
