# Simpla vs Run Factory

Simpla and Run Factory both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Run Factory's written reviews are positive against 44% of Simpla's. Simpla's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Simpla against 5.0 for Run Factory. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simpla has 17 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of Simpla's written reviews are positive against 67% of Run Factory's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
