# Perfect Slices vs Stack Up

The clearest difference is ads: Stack Up at none against Perfect Slices's shown. Stack Up also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 66%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Perfect Slices's advantage is ratings volume (210K vs 129). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perfect Slices sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stack Up sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Perfect Slices holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perfect Slices has 210K ratings behind it against 129, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Perfect Slices's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stack Up's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Perfect Slices ships an update every 6 weeks, Stack Up every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
