# MobileClock vs Eddy

The clearest difference is rating: MobileClock at 5.0 against Eddy's 4.2. MobileClock also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Eddy's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (22 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MobileClock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eddy has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

MobileClock ships an update every 5 months, Eddy every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
