# CarbitLink vs Final VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Final VPN at 87% against CarbitLink's 5%. Final VPN also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CarbitLink sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Final VPN sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Final VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Final VPN has 3.5K ratings behind it against 171, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 5% of CarbitLink's written reviews are positive against 87% of Final VPN's.

CarbitLink ships an update every 2 months, Final VPN weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
