# TimeBloc vs Remindly

The clearest difference is rating: TimeBloc at 4.3 against Remindly's 3.3. TimeBloc also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (7.4K vs 4). Remindly's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 42%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeBloc sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Remindly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeBloc holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeBloc has 7.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of TimeBloc's written reviews are positive against 50% of Remindly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TimeBloc ships an update monthly, Remindly every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
