# Smart & Final vs andmore

The clearest difference is rating: Smart & Final at 4.6 against andmore's 3.0. Smart & Final also leads on ratings volume (8.7K vs 23). andmore's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Smart & Final holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart & Final has 8.7K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Smart & Final's written reviews are positive against 25% of andmore's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
