# Smart & Final vs Justbid.com

The clearest difference is rating: Smart & Final at 4.6 against Justbid.com's 3.4. Smart & Final also leads on ratings volume (8.7K vs 173). Justbid.com's advantage is review sentiment (41% vs 15%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Smart & Final holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart & Final has 8.7K ratings behind it against 173, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Smart & Final's written reviews are positive against 41% of Justbid.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Smart & Final ships an update every 2 months, Justbid.com every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
