# FastClip vs Vimlike

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Vimlike at none against FastClip's 4. Vimlike also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and review sentiment (85% vs 73%). FastClip's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (179 vs 30). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FastClip sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Vimlike asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vimlike holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FastClip has 179 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of FastClip's written reviews are positive against 85% of Vimlike's.

FastClip ships an update every 3 weeks, Vimlike every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
