# Deep Tools vs Secure.me

The clearest difference is update cadence: Secure.me at weekly against Deep Tools's every 6 weeks. Deep Tools's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Deep Tools sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Secure.me sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Deep Tools ships an update every 6 weeks, Secure.me weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
