# Meeting Notes & Work Planner vs Secret Diary

The clearest difference is rating: Secret Diary at 5.0 against Meeting Notes & Work Planner's 4.1. Secret Diary also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Meeting Notes & Work Planner's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meeting Notes & Work Planner sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Secret Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secret Diary holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Meeting Notes & Work Planner has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Meeting Notes & Work Planner's written reviews are positive against 70% of Secret Diary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Meeting Notes & Work Planner ships an update every 3 weeks, Secret Diary every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
