# Birthday Reminder Countdown vs Countdown Days

Birthday Reminder Countdown and Countdown Days both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of Birthday Reminder Countdown's written reviews are positive against 25% of Countdown Days's. Birthday Reminder Countdown also leads on ratings volume (529 vs 27). Countdown Days's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birthday Reminder Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown Days sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown Days holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Birthday Reminder Countdown has 529 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Birthday Reminder Countdown's written reviews are positive against 25% of Countdown Days's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Birthday Reminder Countdown ships an update every 3 weeks, Countdown Days every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
