# Prkn vs GOVR

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Prkn at 2.3K against GOVR's 1. GOVR's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GOVR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prkn has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Prkn ships an update every 3 weeks, GOVR every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
