# Tree Quest vs 数方

The clearest difference is update cadence: 数方 at every 2 months against Tree Quest's every 5 months. 数方 also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tree Quest sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 数方 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tree Quest ships an update every 5 months, 数方 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
