# My IPTV Player vs IPTV Smarters

The clearest difference is review sentiment: My IPTV Player at 100% against IPTV Smarters's 36%. My IPTV Player also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). IPTV Smarters's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My IPTV Player sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and IPTV Smarters sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IPTV Smarters holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Smarters has 1.7K ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of My IPTV Player's written reviews are positive against 36% of IPTV Smarters's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My IPTV Player ships an update every 8 months, IPTV Smarters every 8 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
