# aka vs Humo Messenger

The clearest difference is rating: aka at 3.4 against Humo Messenger's 1.0. aka also leads on ratings volume (421 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Humo Messenger's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

aka holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: aka has 421 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
