# Toolbox Pro for Shortcuts vs EV CALC

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EV CALC at none against Toolbox Pro for Shortcuts's 4. EV CALC also leads on review sentiment (91% vs 66%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.5). Toolbox Pro for Shortcuts's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (435 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Toolbox Pro for Shortcuts sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. EV CALC asks for nothing beyond the download.

Toolbox Pro for Shortcuts holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Toolbox Pro for Shortcuts has 435 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Toolbox Pro for Shortcuts's written reviews are positive against 91% of EV CALC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
