# iProTV vs AnyTV

The clearest difference is rating: AnyTV at 4.0 against iProTV's 3.6. AnyTV also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and iOS requirement (18 vs 26.0). iProTV's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days) and ratings volume (76 vs 6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iProTV sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and AnyTV sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AnyTV holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iProTV has 76 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of iProTV's written reviews are positive against 60% of AnyTV's.

iProTV ships an update every 3 days, AnyTV every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
