# Ring vs Diamond Ring

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ring at none against Diamond Ring's 4. Diamond Ring's advantage is update cadence (every 12 months vs every 32 months) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diamond Ring sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Ring asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ring ships an update every 32 months, Diamond Ring every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
