# Microsoft Surface vs Amazon Signage

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Amazon Signage at 100% against Microsoft Surface's 26%. Amazon Signage also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.2). Microsoft Surface's advantage is ratings volume (159 vs 8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amazon Signage holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Surface has 159 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
