# Second Memory vs MemoKit

The clearest difference is update cadence: MemoKit at every 11 days against Second Memory's every 9 months. MemoKit also leads on iOS requirement (18.2 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Second Memory sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and MemoKit sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Second Memory ships an update every 9 months, MemoKit every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
