# La Pappardella vs Mambo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: La Pappardella at 100% against Mambo's 30%. La Pappardella also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). Mambo's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

La Pappardella ships an update every 3 months, Mambo fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
