# Dominion vs Skagie

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Skagie at none against Dominion's 10. Dominion's advantage is ratings volume (5.1K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dominion sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Skagie asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Dominion against 5.0 for Skagie. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dominion has 5.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dominion ships an update every 5 days, Skagie every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
