# Dominion vs Genesis

The clearest difference is ads: Dominion at none against Genesis's shown. Dominion also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dominion sells 17 one-off in-app purchases and Genesis sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dominion ships an update every 5 days, Genesis every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
