# ToDo Notification Reminders vs Repeating Reminder

The clearest difference is rating: Repeating Reminder at 4.3 against ToDo Notification Reminders's 3.4. Repeating Reminder also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). ToDo Notification Reminders's advantage is ratings volume (495 vs 4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToDo Notification Reminders sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Repeating Reminder asks for nothing beyond the download.

Repeating Reminder holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ToDo Notification Reminders has 495 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of ToDo Notification Reminders's written reviews are positive against 0% of Repeating Reminder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ToDo Notification Reminders ships an update fortnightly, Repeating Reminder every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
