# BEET vs Gig Drummer

BEET and Gig Drummer both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Gig Drummer's written reviews are positive against 63% of BEET's. BEET's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (167 vs 15). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BEET sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Gig Drummer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for BEET against 4.5 for Gig Drummer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BEET has 167 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of BEET's written reviews are positive against 100% of Gig Drummer's.

BEET ships an update every 5 days, Gig Drummer monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
