# VPN Point vs VPN Fastway

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VPN Point at 73% against VPN Fastway's 25%. VPN Point also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). VPN Fastway's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Point sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and VPN Fastway sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Fastway holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Point has 1.5K ratings behind it against 56, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of VPN Point's written reviews are positive against 25% of VPN Fastway's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Point ships an update every 2 months, VPN Fastway every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
