# Ion+ Connect vs AI Assistant

The clearest difference is rating: AI Assistant at 4.3 against Ion+ Connect's 1.0. AI Assistant also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Ion+ Connect's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Assistant sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Ion+ Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

AI Assistant holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Assistant has 3.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ion+ Connect ships an update every 2 months, AI Assistant every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
