# Alpine Hills vs Maisonette

The clearest difference is ads: Alpine Hills at none against Maisonette's shown. Alpine Hills also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Maisonette's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 1) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Alpine Hills against 4.9 for Maisonette. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Maisonette has 2.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Alpine Hills ships an update every 2 months, Maisonette every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
