# Censor Bleep vs Dokichat

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dokichat at every 5 days against Censor Bleep's every 4 months. Dokichat also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 106) and review sentiment (70% vs 58%). Censor Bleep's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Censor Bleep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dokichat sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $6.90 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Censor Bleep holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dokichat has 2.8K ratings behind it against 106, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Censor Bleep's written reviews are positive against 70% of Dokichat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Censor Bleep ships an update every 4 months, Dokichat every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
