# WeWords vs Clashy Words

The clearest difference is update cadence: Clashy Words at every 2 weeks against WeWords's every 2 months. WeWords's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeWords sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Clashy Words sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WeWords ships an update every 2 months, Clashy Words every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
