# Smart FM+ vs Watch Faces ®™

The clearest difference is rating: Watch Faces ®™ at 4.2 against Smart FM+'s 2.3. Watch Faces ®™ also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 15) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). Smart FM+'s advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 11%) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Faces ®™ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Smart FM+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Watch Faces ®™ holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch Faces ®™ has 1.4K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Smart FM+'s written reviews are positive against 11% of Watch Faces ®™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Smart FM+ ships an update every 3 weeks, Watch Faces ®™ every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
