# STF Kronos vs Steren Active

The clearest difference is review sentiment: STF Kronos at 100% against Steren Active's 25%. STF Kronos also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1). Steren Active's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Steren Active holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: STF Kronos has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of STF Kronos's written reviews are positive against 25% of Steren Active's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

STF Kronos ships an update every 2 months, Steren Active fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
