# Halo Collar vs Wagoneer

The clearest difference is rating: Wagoneer at 4.9 against Halo Collar's 4.1. Wagoneer also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and device support (3 vs 1). Halo Collar's advantage is review sentiment (70% vs 31%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wagoneer holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9.6K and 12K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Halo Collar's written reviews are positive against 31% of Wagoneer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Halo Collar ships an update every 3 weeks, Wagoneer monthly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
