# Halo Collar vs InsideHOA

The clearest difference is monetization model: InsideHOA at free against Halo Collar's paid. InsideHOA also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Halo Collar's advantage is ratings volume (9.4K vs 5). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for Halo Collar against 4.2 for InsideHOA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Halo Collar has 9.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
