# TimeStory vs Papermind

The clearest difference is update cadence: Papermind at every 3 days against TimeStory's every 6 weeks. Papermind also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeStory sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year and Papermind sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeStory ships an update every 6 weeks, Papermind every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
