# TimeStory vs Tymbre

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tymbre at every 10 days against TimeStory's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeStory sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year and Tymbre sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeStory ships an update every 6 weeks, Tymbre every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
