# Paper vs AI Email

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Paper at 1.8K against AI Email's 61. Paper also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paper sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and AI Email sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Paper against 4.6 for AI Email. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paper has 1.8K ratings behind it against 61, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Paper ships an update monthly, AI Email every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
