# SecurePalm M Security vs File Glider

The clearest difference is update cadence: SecurePalm M Security at every 4 weeks against File Glider's every 10 months. SecurePalm M Security also leads on review sentiment (15% vs 0%). File Glider's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

File Glider holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: File Glider has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of SecurePalm M Security's written reviews are positive against 0% of File Glider's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SecurePalm M Security ships an update every 4 weeks, File Glider every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
