# SwimUp vs Swimerize

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Swimerize at 100% against SwimUp's 65%. Swimerize also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). SwimUp's advantage is ratings volume (143 vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SwimUp sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Swimerize sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swimerize holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SwimUp has 143 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of SwimUp's written reviews are positive against 100% of Swimerize's.

SwimUp ships an update fortnightly, Swimerize every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
