# MyTN vs CarDoc Connect

MyTN and CarDoc Connect both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of MyTN's written reviews are positive against 40% of CarDoc Connect's. CarDoc Connect's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 273). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CarDoc Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CarDoc Connect has 1.9K ratings behind it against 273, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of MyTN's written reviews are positive against 40% of CarDoc Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyTN ships an update every 5 weeks, CarDoc Connect every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
