# xWind vs EMB 145 Training Guide PRO

The clearest difference is price: xWind at $0.99 against EMB 145 Training Guide PRO's $19.99. xWind also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 17 months). EMB 145 Training Guide PRO's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On ads, in-app purchases, chart position and device support there is nothing between them.

xWind costs $0.99 and EMB 145 Training Guide PRO $19.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

xWind holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: xWind has 550 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of xWind's written reviews are positive against 100% of EMB 145 Training Guide PRO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

xWind ships an update fortnightly, EMB 145 Training Guide PRO every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
