# CIF vs 4RGE

The clearest difference is rating: 4RGE at 5.0 against CIF's 2.7. 4RGE also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). CIF's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

4RGE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CIF has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CIF ships an update every 6 weeks, 4RGE every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
