# Readability vs My Reading Coach

The clearest difference is monetization model: My Reading Coach at freemium against Readability's subscription. My Reading Coach also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Readability's advantage is ratings volume (25K vs 1) and chart position (#148 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readability sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and My Reading Coach sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Reading Coach holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Readability has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
