# Weiser vs IDNTY

The clearest difference is review sentiment: IDNTY at 100% against Weiser's 40%. IDNTY also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Weiser's advantage is ratings volume (96 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IDNTY holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weiser has 96 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Weiser's written reviews are positive against 100% of IDNTY's.

Weiser ships an update every 3 months, IDNTY every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
