# GOGYM vs Kometa.fit

The clearest difference is monetization model: Kometa.fit at free against GOGYM's free with in-app purchases. Kometa.fit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). GOGYM's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 43%) and ratings volume (41 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kometa.fit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GOGYM has 41 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of GOGYM's written reviews are positive against 43% of Kometa.fit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
