# MixCam vs Nonstop Cam

The clearest difference is monetization model: Nonstop Cam at free with in-app purchases against MixCam's subscription. MixCam's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (6K vs 730). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MixCam sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Nonstop Cam sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MixCam holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MixCam has 6K ratings behind it against 730, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of MixCam's written reviews are positive against 62% of Nonstop Cam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MixCam ships an update fortnightly, Nonstop Cam every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
