# MixCam vs Camera FrontBack

The clearest difference is price: MixCam at Free against Camera FrontBack's $2.99. MixCam also leads on ratings volume (6K vs 47) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Camera FrontBack's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 54%). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

MixCam is free to download; Camera FrontBack costs $2.99 up front. MixCam sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Camera FrontBack sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for MixCam against 4.6 for Camera FrontBack. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MixCam has 6K ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two.
